Aurora

A few things to note about these beautiful Icelandic aurora sequences…

The white spots are not blemishes, they are stars! Or possibly village lights if lower down.

You know you are seeing an aurora if you can see the stars through it. If not, you are probably looking at a cloud.

These photos are not touched up at all. However, the camera sees more colour than the naked eye.

Try clicking the slider manually and quite fast to get a better feel for how the aurora moves.
